Chantal Casavant is a seasoned manager with more than 30 years of experience in the tourism and hospitality industry. She has also been active on the committees and boards of directors of numerous organizations, including Destinations International, the Conseil québécois des ressources humaines en tourisme (CQRHT) and the Association des professionnels de congrès du Québec (APCQ).

Since 2012, she has used this vast experience for the benefit of the next generation of the industry’s leaders by teaching classes mostly in the fields of human resources management, organizational behavior and customer experience both at the university and college level in hospitality, tourism or event management programs at l’Institut de tourisme et d’hôtellerie du Québec.
